Series SHARDS OF MEMORY
Stoneware, glazes, iron oxide, wood firing, diameter × height: 15.5x4in (40x10cm), 2026
Once, offering vessels carried gifts.
They were vessels of memory, exchange, and sacrifice…
These carry only traces.
This series was conceived not as a body of functional ceramics, but as a
meditation on ritual offering vessels, whose ornament no longer reads as
decoration, but as the remnants of a forgotten language.
The fire transformed them into archaeological witnesses. They became vessels of
absence - repositories of loss and of what can never be recovered.
