The idea was to create objects as a series of archaic artifacts.
Simplicity of ancient ceramic vessels - conciseness of form of fireclay objects, ornate porcelain decorations, primitive sweeping painting as an homage to ancient arabic pottery, - all of it in combination with random unpredictable traces of fire, artistic ash marks and smudges create an amazing character.
While wood-firing in a unique furnace in Noborigama, Japan, the fire itself becomes a participant and a co-author.
We see an interaction of the elements of Fire, Air, Earth and Creative Thought and Energy.
